Apple Crrrruumble!

Hello!
I have been busy with school, and cooking dinners. I was looking through my journal full of recipes today, and I found my apple crumble recipe. I have been looking for a recipe to put on here for a while. So here it is!

Apple Crumble

200g flour
100g butter
apples
cinnamon

Put the flour in a bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles bread crumbs. Butter a glass dish. Chop up some apples and put them in the dish(use as many as you need). Get a handful of the crumble and put it ontop of the apples. Use as much as you need. If you still have some crumble left over, chop more apples and put the rest on. Turn the oven onto 180c. Put some cinnamon on the crumble. Once the oven is heated put the dish/s into the oven for 20-40 minutes. Serve with yoghurt,ice-cream,or just plain.
If you want sweet crumble, add Rapadura sugar to the flour.

I hope you like this recipe!

Whens Dinner?

Hullo!
Today I am finally posting this up; I meant to do it on  Tuesday. I make dinner every week on Tuesdays and cook with my baby brother on Mondays, so I do cook as often as I can! This recipe is pork chops and mash. I do hope you like it.
(Note: Get the pork chops, potatoes, milk, butter and chives from your local Farmers Market . Make sure the pork chops are organic and free-range,and the butter and milk Organic.)

Pork chops and Mash

four pork chops             2Kg potatoes
salt                                 butter
paprika                          milk
chives
( one pork chop + 400g potatoes per person)

Preheat the oven to 180C.
Put the pork chops into trays. Season with salt and paprika. Put them into the oven. Leave in for at least 20mins.
Peel the potatoes. Chop them into quarters,or halves, if they are small. (Use all if the pork chops are small, or you have very hungry people.) Put them into a pot of boiling water.
Check the pork chops after at least 20 mins. To see if they are ready look at the under-side. The under-side should look brown. Filp them over if they are. Check the potatoes while your at it. You should be able to poke a fork through the biggest bits. If ready pour the potatoes in to a colander and shake. Put them back into the pot and put in a bit of salt, butter and milk. Get a masher and mash well.
Put the chops and mash on a plate. Sprinkle the mash with chives. Drink with sparkley water.

Enjoy!

Breckfast! Or dessert.............

Hullo!
Today is time for pancakes! These are some of my
favorite home-made recipes. I  love waking up and cooking some pancakes, getting out the maple syrup, drizzling it on top, then eating them!

Pancakes.
1 cup of flour
1 cup of raw milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon of Whey (if using pasteurised milk)
lard, or some other fat that is solid at room temperature (butter, tallow, coconut oil)
 topping of your desire

Put the flour, milk, and egg into a bowl. Beat together. Mix in the whey(if using). Get a tea cloth and cover the bowl. Leave over night. In the morning (or afternoon!) heat up a pan. Put in some lard. When the lard is melted get a small ladle and ladle some mixture in a pan. When the edges of the pancake are starting to brown flip them over. Leave in for a minute and put  on a plate.  Add topping of your desire.

Enjoy!!

Sweet tooth!

Hi all!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while, as I have been rather busy!
I have made a cookies and a Ice Chocolate recipes. Here they are!

One day I went out to a Cafe with My mum, dad, and brothers and found out the place was shut! So mum suggested that I make Ice chocolates for every one. It turned out to be a success. This a really simple recipe that anyone could make.
Enjoy!

Ice Chocolate
1 tablespoon of cocoa
1 table spoon of Maple syrup
a dash of hot water
milk
vanilla ice cream

Put the coco in to a cup. Add some hot water to it and stir together. The mixture should be thick and glossy. If too watery add some more cocoa. Add the Maple syrup and mix well. The mixture should look syrupy. Take Ice cream out of the freezer. Pour the milk into the cocoa and maple syrup mixture. Scoop the Ice cream into the cups. Add a straw and spoon.

Another day when I was cooking I wanted to make some chocolate cookies, there was no chocolate, so I made up these yummy Cinnamon cookies. They were so yummy they were gone the next day!

Cinnamon Cookies
200g sugar            2 eggs
200g butter         1 teaspoon cinnamon
200g flour             1 tablespoon of yoghurt

Cream the sugar and Butter until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and mix in well. Mix the flour and cinnamon together. Then put two (2) spoonfuls of the Flour-Cinnamon into the Sugar and Butter mixture. Mix in well. then put another two (2) more spoonfuls of the Flour- Cinnamon into the mixture, ect, until it is all mixed in. Mix in the yoghurt. put a cloth over the bowl and leave over night. In the morning preheat the over to 180. Butter a tray. Get a spoonful of the mixture in your hands and roll into a ball. Press down gently with your fingers and put on the tray. When the tray is full put in the oven for 15 minutes.

Tasty Tip: Try putting 3x1/8 teaspoons of ginger in.

                                                        The cookies!
